The “Resident Evil” series has been a bit hit-and-miss throughout its history – especially when it comes to film – but takes another shot on a non-interactive fairy tale with the live-action series on Netflix this year. The upcoming series does not seem to have a direct connection to the infinite darkness animation which debuted on July 2021.
Resident Evil “was first released on the original Playstation in 1996, performed well enough to spawn a strong franchise (although some coarse patches) were more than 25 years later, following and expanding the story of the development of the pharmaceutical company of biological weapons companies and those who were Trying to stop it. What began as a small story about horror and intrigue in a mountain-cum-secret remote laboratory immediately spread to the city of Racoon Racoon (and nearby), and finally the whole world.
Paul W.S. Anderson’s live action at first, placing rounds on hidden umbrella labs and supplied completely new characters, eventually running as far as changing the main protagonist of the series, Alice, becoming a virus-powered supersoldier with occasional telekinesis. Plus, there is a clone force at one point, and the character’s estimate of the game makes appearance.
As for this new life action “Resident Evil,” the details are still rather rare. Netflixgeek shared a short synopsis on Twitter on August 2020, revealing the first season consisted of episodes for eight hours and was led by former “supernatural” executive producer Andrew Dabb. The account continues to state that the story will follow “The Wesker Kids” when they moved to the new Racoon City and began to reveal a number of deadly secrets. Whether they are related to (or maybe cloned from), the antagonist of the old game series Albert Wesker has not explicitly stated, but it is possible to remember how fast and lose game play with science.
Viewing a new Teaser image of the official Twitter Netflix account has been distributed today, it seems that the T virus can make a return in some capacities, along with drugs produced by umbrellas called joy.” There is still no official word about the return of characters who are familiar from games or films. And while the basic plot description might not inspire trust with many fans of “Resident Evil”, consensus seems that, compared to other live-action colleagues, this new series has no place to go but ride.
Even though the picture doesn’t appear much, we don’t need to wait too long to watch the show itself, because “Resident Evil” Netflix is scheduled to be launched on July 14, 2022.
